Beautiful framed artwork by Christine Pellerin, featuring the sky at dusk or sunrise, made from colored needle felted wool! Christine uses commercially-dyed, unspun wool fiber and “paints” it onto a base of wool or wool/synthetic blend felt fabric using a barbed needle. She then hand sews the completed piece onto a foam core mounting board before framing. Intentionally framed without using glass, her work beautifully showcases the soft supple textures of the fibers as well as the incredibly detailed image. Best displayed out of direct sunlight.
