Autumn colored, enameled bracelet by enamel jewelry artist, Lynn Adams. Enameling is the fusing of powdered glass to a substrate (in this case sterling silver) by kiln firing, usually between 1,380 and 1,560 °F. The powder melts, flows, and then hardens to a smooth, durable vitreous coating on the metal. With its smooth rich burnt orange and silver dots shining through the center, this bracelet makes a contemporary and elegant piece of wearable art.
