Graceful, woodfired lidded jar by Jennie Blair. Fired in a wood-fueled kiln, the natural wood ash melts onto the surface of the pottery during the firing process, giving the clay toasty golden hues and the glazes rich luscious depth. This tall lidded jar was glazed with shino, which ranges in color from tan, to peach, to white. Jennie’s earthy pottery is always, expertly formed and well balanced, with absolutely perfect functionality. Made with high-temperature durable stoneware. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
