Cristina is an Andean small batch beadwork artist based in the forests of the White Mountains. Her unique designs take form in jewelry, wearables and decorative items. She enjoys playing around with various aesthetics ranging from clean and minimalistic, to intricate and ornate, to illustrative and narrative. Cristina’s distinctive beadwork is crafted very slowly and with a lot of care, and she is often available to create custom work that speaks to its wearer with her unique vision. Cristina is also a ceramicist and basket weaver. Therefore, please note that some items sold on her website have not been part of the League of NH Craftsmen jury process.

Beautiful handcrafted black and gold beaded “Waterfall” earrings by Cristina Trifon. Gold-plated surgical-grade stainless steel ear wires.

Measures approximately 4-1/2 inches from top of ear wire to bottom of earring by 1 inch wide.

Care Instructions:

Store either lying flat or hanging/dangling and away from sunlight. Thread has memory and it likes to go back to the position that it has been kept in. Do not twist fringe strands between your fingers as the thread may contort. Never tug at a fringe strand. Avoid exposing your pieces to water and sweat. Remove them before working out, showering or swimming.

You may see beaded earrings curl over time as they interact with your hair and clothing. If so, you can flatten them and apply a coat of ProtectaClear to the back of your pieces with a sponge brush. It dries to the touch in 1 hour and cures fully within 5 days. Only apply this product on the rigid parts of your beadwork, and don’t let it wick into fringes or any parts that should drape and dance. Your pieces are already coated and should go a long way, but feel free to reapply as needed.
